After you apply

Understand assessment, the decision and your responsibilities once registered.

1. Your documents are checked

Assessment can begin when all correct documentation has been submitted. Respond to requests for corrections or missing evidence promptly.

Read assessment times and when the clock starts.

2. Assessors review your application

Applications are considered individually. Two assessors review equivalence applications; they may identify evidence gaps or invite you to a professional review.

3. You receive the outcome

If successful, you receive a registration certificate and your name is added to the online register. Your first registration period runs for 12 months from your registration date.

If the standards have not been demonstrated, read the decision carefully for the reasons and next steps.
